Canadian Transit Fleet Purchases 18 New Flyer Xcelsior CNG Buses

On Tuesday, New Flyer Industries announced that the City of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada awarded New Flyer a contract for 18 60-foot Xcelsior CNG buses. New Flyer has built transit buses for the City of Hamilton for nearly 20 years in a variety of models, bus lengths and propulsion systems. The City of Hamilton today operates more than 250 New Flyer buses. “We greatly appreciate the confidence the City of Hamilton continues to have in New Flyer product and are excited to now deliver our Xcelsior model to them for the first time,” said Paul Soubry, New Flyer’s President and CEO.
