American Power Group to Provide Dual Fuel Systems in Canada

On Wednesday, American Power Group (APG) announced it will be working with Green Buffalo Fuel (GBF) to begin marketing APG’s V5000 Dual Fuel Turbocharged conversion system using GBF’s patent pending LNG fuel tank in the Canadian market. In anticipation of the pending Canadian approvals, Green Buffalo Fuel placed an order in March 2014 for 70 dual fuel conversion systems with an initial 25 conversion systems destined for the U.S. market. GBF has obtained Canadian CRN approvals for its LNG tanks in Ontario and British Columbia. GBF offers an LNG vehicular tank to be used on conversions of aftermarket Class 8 trucks that is designed and stamped to ASME Section VIII standards and meets all NFPA 52 & SAE J2343 guidelines, including those for thermal performance. With tanks supplied by GBF, APG can now begin selling its LNG dual fuel technology through its WheelTime Dealers in Ontario and British Columbia.
