BP DONATES CNG TRUCK TO OKLAHOMA STATE PARK
This week, the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department announced BP has donated two CNG bi-fuel trucks to Robbers Cave State Park. This donation is a continuation of BP’s partnership with the park and the community of Wilburton. Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin applauded BP for their generous contribution. “BP continues to be an excellent corporate citizen and partner for the state of Oklahoma,” said Fallin. “This generous gift will help the Tourism Department as it works to maintain one of our state’s most beautiful parks.” For many years, the Oklahoma State Park system has permitted oil and gas drilling on state owned park properties. BP drilled, and currently operates, multiple wells at Robbers Cave State Park. Both organizations view this as an extension of their long-term partnership and hope to find other opportunities to work together in the future.
