IMPCO Receives EPA Certification for GM’s 5.3 Liter Engine

IMPCO Automotive announced it has received certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for bi-fuel CNG systems for General Motors model-year 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe 1500, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. The vehicles feature the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 direct-injection engine. IMPCO Automotive IMPCO’s bi-fuel CNG systems feature adaptive calibration technology that ensures an efficient and durable product. IMPCO Automotive also offers bi-fuel systems for GM 2500/3500 and Ford-F250 models.
