CNG Refuse Truck Incident Report Forthcoming

On January 27, a Republic CNG-powered refuse truck caught fire in Indianapolis, Indiana, which resulted in the vent-down and ejection of its CNG cylinders. The Clean Vehicle Education Foundation (CVEF), in cooperation with Republic Services and the local authorities, has performed a thorough investigation of the incident and is expected to release a preliminary report this week.
