NGVAmerica to Participate at Green Truck Summit and Work Truck Show

NGVAmerica is a Tier One sponsor and participant at the Green Truck Summit, slated for March 3–4 in Indianapolis. The event, hosted by NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry, addresses the full spectrum of alternative fuels technologies and applications. It attracts hundreds of fleets, alt fuels industry stakeholders and policy makers. The Summit is held in conjunction with NTEA’s Work Truck Show, March 4–6, where NGVAmerica is listed as a Supporting Organization. NGVAmerica is participating in Tuesday morning’s opening plenary session at the Green Truck Summit and will also coordinate a 45-minute breakout that afternoon on CNG system specification, applicable EPA/CARB requirements and NFPA 52 model code installation guidance. NGVAmerica’s participation in the Work Truck Show includes a 1.5 hour mini-“Compelling Case…” workshop on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 4 from 2:00–3:30 p.m. and an exhibit on the show floor.

NTEA’s Green Truck Summit and adjacent Work Truck Show have proven to be cost-effective and valuable in providing exposure for NGVs and related products and services. Many NGVAmerica members exhibit there and/or attend and participate in educational sessions and industry meetings. In addition, a large number of Clean Cities Coalition coordinators attend, hosting their own side meetings in conjunction with this event. NGVAmerica encourages members to reach out to fleets that operate work trucks to attend this expo and educational program.
