Amp Trillium Opens CNG Station to Service Frito-Lay in Ohio
On Wednesday, Amp Trillium, the joint venture between Amp CNG and Trillium CNG, announced the opening of its public access CNG station in Canton, Ohio. The station will serve Frito-Lay North America, the station’s anchor tenant. Frito-Lay North America selected Trillium CNG as a station partner to build public fueling infrastructure to serve its fleet of heavy duty Class 8 CNG tractor trailers. Directly off I-30 and I-65 and across from Frito-Lay North America’s plant in Canton, the Amp Trillium station will allow three Class 8 trucks to fuel simultaneously at 10–12 GGE per minute using Trillium’s fast-fill hydraulic intensifier (HY-C) technology. The station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is accepting all major credit cards.
