Skygo Receives EPA Approval for Conversions of Cummins ISX Engines

Skygo Fuel Systems’ latest dual fuel conversion system has been approved by the U.S. EPA. The dual fuel system is available as an aftermarket upgrade for 2007 to 2009 Cummins ISX engines. According to data provided to EPA, the system reduces emissions up to 20 percent, with diesel displacements of approximately 60 percent. Initially designed for trucking applications, the system can applied to other applications including transit, utility or stationary power. Skygo has partnered with AMBAC International to manufacture the system in their ISO9001 certified Columbia, South Carolina facility. Skygo also is nearing completion of a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine application.
