amp Trillium Begin Construction of CNG Station in Texas

On Tuesday, amp Trillium, the joint venture between ampCNG and Trillium CNG, announced that construction has begun on the first public access CNG station in the city of Sweetwater, Texas. The amp Trillium station will service Class 8 trucks and all other classes of vehicle. It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will be able to fuel three Class 8 trucks simultaneously at 10-12 DGE per minute. The station will be the fourth of seven public fueling stations to be built as part of a previously announced agreement with Dairy Farmers of America and Select Milk Producers to convert a portion of their diesel fleets to CNG-powered trucks. The public station is located on I-20 west of Dallas and Fort Worth, and it is set to open in late October. The joint venture is set to bring three additional stations to Texas (Brock, Kerrville and Midland) within the next six months. amp Trillium stations in Amarillo, Waco and Harrold opened earlier this summer.
