• August 12, 2014
The City of Toccoa in Northeast Georgia is converting an additional five vehicles to run on CNG at a cost of $8,350 per vehicle. The city anticipates additional conversions in the future and is training city employees to be able to perform the work, which should lower the cost to transition to natural gas. The city currently operates a private station to fuel the vehicles. However, with the addition of five vehicles the station is now at capacity. The station is considering constructing a new station to accommodate additional city vehicles.
