GAIN Announces Two New CNG Station Projects in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin
GAIN Clean Fuel has announced a partnership with Silvi Concrete, a ready-mix concrete and cement company, to supply CNG to the company’s fleet of natural gas trucks. The new station will be located in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, and will be adjacent to Silvi’s Morrisville concrete plant. Silvi is adding 30 Oshkosh Front Discharge Trucks with the Cummins- Westport ISX12-G engine and two CNG tractors for cement hauling. The conversion is part of the company’s Green Initiative to become more environmentally sustainable. Construction of the facility is expected to be complete in November.
GAIN also announced a partnership with Delco Foods, an Indiana-based specialty foods distributor, to build a new CNG station in Indianapolis, Indiana. The new GAIN station will service Delco Foods’ new fleet, which operates throughout the Midwest, as it transitions to natural gas. The station will be complete in November and will be located just minutes away from Delco Foods’ distribution facility. The station will be open for use by other carriers and the general public. GAIN currently operates 17 GAIN stations and has an additional 15 station under construction. GAIN has a goal to have more than 100 stations operational in the next three years.
