California City Approves NGV Purchases and Tank Maintenance Contract

The Santa Monica (California) City Council recently awarded Agility Fuel Systems a one-year contract to refurbish and repair CNG and LNG tanks on the city’s transit buses. The contract amount is $400,000 with two one-year renewal options. The contract was awarded by the city to ensure its CNG buses continue to meet safety requirements. The City Council also approved the purchase of a number of other NGVs, including four Ford Transit Connect animal control vehicles, two aerial trucks and a second Honda Civic Natural Gas.
