Waste Management Debuts CNG Project in Ohio
• June 23, 2014
On Thursday, Waste Management held a grand opening ceremony for its new CNG station in Fairborn, Ohio. Waste Management will fuel 33 new CNG refuse trucks that will service the Dayton area at the new station. Another 25 CNG trucks will be added to the new fleet by this fall. Waste Management operates another natural gas fleet in Ohio that services Columbus. “Whether you think the C in CNG stands for compressed, clean, or cheap, our use of domestically produced and plentiful natural gas will help to reduce long term operating and maintenance costs,” said Waste Management Area VP Denise Gretz.
