EVO CNG and Trillium CNG Open CNG Station in Wisconsin
On Tuesday, EVO CNG and joint venture partner Trillium CNG opened a new CNG fueling station in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, that it claims is the largest CNG station in the state. The station is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and features four fast-fill dispensers. Waterloo-based Sheehy Mail Contractors is the station’s anchor tenant. It operates 10 Freightliner Cascadia tractors with Cummins-Westport ISX G engines, and is planning to put more vehicles on the road this summer. Sheehy was recently awarded the U.S. Postal Service’s Supplier Performance Award for its natural gas project. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker attended a grand opening of the station. “Over the last three and a half years, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a business friendly environment that will encourage companies like EVO CNG and Trillium CNG to invest in our state,” said Walker. “I’m proud to be here today with Wisconsin’s newest job creator.”
