TTP Begins New Year with Expanded Membership Roll
Improving Regulatory Outlook and Proven, Affordable, Reliable Clean Vehicle Technology Energizes Natural Gas Transportation Market
Washington, DC – The Transport Project (TTP) begins 2026 – its 39th year as the natural gas in transportation industry’s national trade association – with multiple new members across the gaseous fueled vehicle industry value chain. Recently joined member companies and organizations include:

The Transport Project’s membership recruitment success is the result of growing interest from fleets in transitioning to CNG and RNG fueled trucks.
“Paper Transport joined The Transport Project because advancing clean transportation takes collective leadership, and we’ve seen firsthand what’s possible through more than a decade of running natural gas trucks,” said Paper Transport’s Chief Commercial Officer Jared Stedl. “TTP’s advocacy complements our long-standing commitment to low-carbon solutions by helping shape smart policy that accelerates the adoption of renewable natural gas and supports fleets with practical, real-world resources. We value TTP’s leadership in ensuring the trucking industry’s voice is represented as technologies evolve. By leveraging TTP’s technical data, best practices, and policy insights, we can further strengthen our sustainability strategy and help our customers meet their decarbonization goals.”
In 2025, TTP’s advocacy efforts resulted in the preservation, expansion, and improvement of the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Tax Credit; expanded interest in a $1.00/gallon RNG motor fuel tax end user credit; and a brightening regulatory outlook that includes the sunset of onerous state-specific sales and purchase requirements and adoption of a federal agenda that supports the deployment of all clean commercial vehicle technologies under the Trump administration.
As the convener of industry experts across all gaseous fuel transportation sectors, TTP is the leader in advancing on-road best practices, safe operation, and consistent codes and standards for CNG vehicles, fueling, and maintenance facilities. Last year TTP’s Technology and Development Committee subject matter experts released both a Recommended Practices for CNG Powered Refuse Trucks and CNG Vehicle Emergency Response guidance; planned 2026 releases include updated Maintenance Facility Guidelines.
New TTP membership opportunities exist for any interested CNG, LNG, RNG, or hydrogen transportation entity – both on and off road.
