ANGP Granted U.S. Patent for Low-Pressure ANG Storage System
Adsorbed Natural Gas Products (ANGP) announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued the patent INTEGRATED ON-BOARD LOW-PRESSURE ADSORBED NATURAL GAS STORAGE SYSTEM FOR AN ADSORBED NATURAL GAS VEHICLE to ANGP.
“We are extremely excited about the issuance of this patent and having the USPTO recognize the unique art our company has produced,” said Robert Allen Bonelli, C-Founder and CEO of ANGP. “ANGP now holds the U.S. patent for this game-changing technology; has succeeded in working through the Ford Qualified Calibration Modifier (QCM) and Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program to calibrate our storage technology to Ford’s 2018 and 2019 5.0 L V8 port fuel direct injection (PFDI) technology for the 2018 and 2019 F150; and is currently entering the market with our trademarked PHANGV® F150.”
ANGP’s low-pressure natural gas storage system reduces the compression requirement for natural gas vehicles by 75 percent, enabling low cost private and public access fueling. The company’s focus on large frame light duty vehicles (1/2-ton pick-up trucks, vans and large SUVs) provides a commercially viable path to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of the most popular vehicle platforms in the United States and other parts of the world.
