CSA Calls for Participation to Develop New NGV 4.7 Standard
CSA Group is launching a project to develop a new Standard NGV 4.7, Automatic pressure operated valves for natural gas dispensing systems. To undertake this work, CSA Group is seeking additional experts to serve on this technical subcommittee.
CSA is looking for interested stakeholders who will actively participate and contribute to the development of this important standard through CSA’s accredited standards development processes. The CSA technical subcommittee members will work in collaboration to develop the content of the Standard and to address alignment and harmonization as applicable with relevant international standards.
Those interested in participating as a Member of the CSA technical subcommittee for NGV 4.7, Automatic pressure operated valves for natural gas dispensing systems, can submit a brief bio along with a statement outlining the applicant’s interest and ability to contribute to the work.
Concept for the new standard:
The scope of the standard will apply to automatic, pressure operated valves used in CNG dispensing systems for vehicles.
What is expected?
- Active participation and willingness to work on a technical subcommittee electronically and in-person
- Attendance at meetings over approximately 18 months
- Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment, following the principles of consensus
- Strong interest and knowledge of the subject matter
