Chart Opens Second LNG/LCNG Fueling Station in Finland

Chart Ferox (Chart) has opened a public natural gas fueling station in Finland, located in the port city of Turku. The Chart designed and built LNG station is supplemented with a Sarlin high pressure system to offer natural gas fueling service for both LNG and CNG vehicles.

The station features the “Dynaflow” LNG dispenser engineered to operate to an ambient temperature of -40°F. Installation was carried out by Chart’s partner Sarlin Oy Ab, and station commissioning was completed by Chart engineers.

Natural gas fueling can be a major contributor to Finland’s environmental objectives of reducing greenhouse gases and other tailpipe emissions. Chart is currently constructing two additional natural gas stations that are expected to open next year.
