Clean Energy Opens CNG Station for Orlando International Airport
On Thursday, Clean Energy announced the opening of its newest natural gas fueling station, located at the Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida. The new station is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can accommodate a variety of natural gas vehicles, from passenger cars and airport support vehicles to heavy-duty trucks. The CNG station, which is under a 20-year lease agreement with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, accepts all major credit cards and fleet cards.
The station joins Clean Energy’s public-access CNG station located at Tampa International Airport in offering natural gas fuel to local area fleets. “Orlando International Airport is committed to pursuing and promoting green initiatives that reinforce our reputation as a conscientious community partner,” said Phil Brown, executive director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “This station is an important component of our sustainability effort and is an environmentally responsible way to ensure the natural beauty of Central Florida is protected for future generations.”
