New Flyer to Supply CNG Buses to New York Transit Authority

On Thursday, New Flyer Industries announced that Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) operated by Transdev Services in the State of New York, awarded New Flyer a contract for up to 110 40-foot Xcelsior CNG buses. The contract contains a firm order for 52 buses with options for an additional 58 buses and is valued at approximately $53 million dollars. “Sustainability is a top priority for NICE and their purchase of New Flyer CNG buses reflects their commitment to minimize environmental impact,” said Paul Soubry, New Flyer’s President and CEO.
