Questar Opens CNG Station in Texas

Questar Fueling Company opened its newest CNG fueling station in DeSoto, Texas. The public fast-fill station was designed for fleet operators with medium and heavy duty trucks, as well as for motorists with light duty NGVs. The station, which is Questar’s second in Texas, is located near national trucking companies Dart Transit and Swift Transportation, which are operating natural gas trucks. The station features four high-speed fueling lanes for Class 8 trucks and passenger vehicles, and is expandable to meet future growth. The station is located near Interstate Highway 20 and 35 at DeSoto’s transportation and trucking hub. Last year, Questar built the nation’s largest CNG station for Central Freight Lines and Swift in Houston, Texas. The station features five high-speed fueling lanes and 120 time-fill spaces for parked trucks. In addition to the Houston and DeSoto stations, Questar Fueling will complete construction on two more Texas CNG stations this fall: one in San Antonio and the other in Dallas.
