Logistics Provider Debuts New CNG Trucks in Pennsylvania
On Monday, Kane Is Able, a third-party logistics provider, held an event to debut seven new Class 8 Volvo trucks powered by CNG at KANE’s Administrative Building in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Volvo VNL day cabs, which are manufactured Dublin, Virginia, feature the Cummins-Westport ISX12 G engine. The trucks have an approximate range of 425 miles between fueling. KANE, which also unveiled its new trailers at the event, is augmenting its fleet with 100 new trailers manufactured by Great Dane North America. The seven CNG trucks, new trailers, KANE’s vintage truck collection, and its rolling museum all were on hand during the event to showcase the company’s evolution from the 1930s to the era of natural gas. The new trucks will operate out of KANE’s Scranton, Pennsylvania, business campus. For more information, visit KANE at www.kaneisable.com
