Amp Trillium Opens New Station in Texas
On Wednesday, Amp Trillium, a joint venture between Amp CNG and Trillium CNG, announced the opening of its station in Amarillo, Texas. Amp Trillium finalized an agreement last year with national dairy cooperatives Dairy Farmers of America and Select Milk Producers to build seven public stations and to lease the cooperatives CNG trucks. Two trucking companies, Western Dairy Transport and Reynolds Nationwide, which will haul milk for the cooperatives, will serve as the station’s anchor fleets. The station is located off of I-40 and is able to accommodate both natural gas passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks. The other stations will be located across Texas in Harrold, Rosenberg, Sweetwater, Brock, Kerrville and Midland. The first phase of the Texas network should be complete within six months.
