DOE Announces Large Alt Fuel Grant Program

On Wednesday, The U.S. Department of Energy announced that it will provide up to $4.5 billion in grants for alternative fuel vehicle projects through the Clean Cities program. The funding opportunity will provide 7 to 15 projects between $250,000 and $1 million in funding. This funding will support projects in three major Areas of Interest (AOI): on-the- road demonstrations, safety-related training and emergency preparedness. Applicants may submit only one application to each AOI. The reference number for this FOA is DE-FOA-0000951.
