Trucking Firm Adds 10 LNG Trucks to California Fleet
On Thursday, C.R. England, a large national refrigerated carrier, celebrated the addition of 10 new Mack Pinnacle 12L LNG trucks to the company’s Southern California fleets. C.R. England also announced the grand opening of a new terminal in Colton, California (San Bernardino County). The 34-acre facility is the second largest for C.R. England nationwide and will feature a large maintenance shop and a number of amenities. Two of the 10 new LNG trucks were on display at the ribbon cutting event. “Collaboration with both vendors and shippers has been a critical factor in the success of the implementation of natural gas tractors,” said C.R. England COO Zach England. “We have seen some of the many benefits of natural gas.” In 2011, C.R. England introduced 15L LNG tractors into its fleet, and in 2013, England introduced a CNG fleet in Utah.
