NORTHEAST NEBRASKA TO RECEIVE FIRST PUBLIC CNG STATION
Stirk CNG announced that it has partnered with Frontier Cooperative to open a CNG station in Columbus, Nebraska, in the fall of 2014. The heavy duty public station will be located at a Sapp Bros Travel Center and will facilitate both large truck access and light duty vehicles. Initial fleets using the station will be Class 8 fleets in the grain and feed transportation industry. “Our strategy is to continue to build out the compressed natural gas infrastructure, with a focus on large truck access in major transportation corridors,” said Mike Hoelscher, managing member from Stirk CNG. Black Hills will provide natural gas service to the new natural gas station. For more information, contact Mike Hoelscher with Stirk CNG at 402.304.3614.
