GAIN OPENS CNG FLEET STATION IN ALABAMA

On Thursday, GAIN Clean Fuels, in partnership with Evergreen Transport, opened a new CNG station on Highway 25 in Calera, Alabama (south of Birmingham). The station is located at Evergreen’s fueling and maintenance facility, adjacent to Interstate 65. Evergreen will fuel its current fleet of 12 CNG trucks at the new station and an additional 18 CNG trucks by 2015. The new station is open 24 hours a day to other trucking companies and approved fleets. The station is expected to displace approximately 300,000 gallons of diesel fuel in 2014.
