PLAN NOW FOR 2014 NORTH AMERICAN NGV CONFERENCE & EXPO IN KANSAS CITY

Planning for the 2014 North American NGV Conference & Expo slated for Kansas City, Missouri, November 11–14 is well underway, with expo floor space and sponsorship sales in full swing, program content and other logistical planning gearing up, and supporting organization commitments growing day-by-day. The Conference & Expo website went live late last week as did the expo floor plan and sponsorship/exhibit sales. Anticipating the launch, more than a dozen exhibitors and sponsors signed on within the first 48 hours of the website going live and many more are expected to confirm while at this week’s ACT Expo in Long Beach, California, where NGVAmerica staff is attending as a sponsor and exhibitor.

More than a dozen national Supporting Organizations have already signed on including: the Canadian NGV Alliance; Transport Canada; NGV Global; American Public Gas Association; American Gas Association; America’s Natural Gas Alliance; National Truck Equipment Association; Solid Waste Association of North America; American BioGas Council; and Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association. Many other national fleet- oriented associations have expressed interest and are expected to formally endorse our event in the very near future. Local/regional Supporting Organizations include: Metropolitan Energy Center; Kansas City Regional Clean Cities Coalition; Central Kansas Clean Cities; and a cadre of state trucking associations including those from Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Tennessee (others are pending approval from their boards).

NGVAmerica received great feedback following last November’s very successful event in Atlanta, Georgia, where more than 1,100 attended and over 110 companies exhibited. Our 2014 program includes all the successful elements of last year’s event—a balanced mix of plenary and breakout sessions, lots of expo time (including over five hours set aside exclusively as “expo-only” time), an expanded Ride-and-Drive, several pre- conference site tours, meals and refreshment breaks and the always popular after-hours social functions—plus new features that provide additional value, such as poster sessions and media roundtables.
