QUESTAR STARTS CONSTRUCTION OF CNG STATION IN TEXAS

Questar Fueling Company announced it is building a new CNG fueling station in DeSoto, Texas. The public-access station will feature four high-speed fueling lanes that will provide fuel to all vehicle classes, from light duty passenger cars to heavy duty Class 8 trucks. The station will be expandable to meet future growth. The station site is located near interstate highways 20 and 35 in DeSoto’s transportation and trucking hub. “Our new station will be located near national trucking companies currently running on clean- burning natural gas like Dart Transit and Swift Transportation,” said Carl Galbraith, Questar Fueling general manager. “When our stations go in, we also start hearing from other fleet operators who are looking to make the move to CNG.” Last year, Questar Fueling built its Houston, Texas, CNG station for Central Freight Lines and Swift and touted it as the nation’s largest CNG station with five high-speed fueling lanes and 120 time-fill spaces for parked trucks. Earlier this year, Questar Fueling announced construction of a station in San Antonio, Texas, that will offer both high-speed and time- fill fueling later this summer. Questar will own and operate the new station, which is scheduled to open in July.
