GENERAL MOTORS ANNOUNCES REDUCED PRICING FOR BI-FUEL HD TRUCKS

On Tuesday, General Motors announced pricing for the bi-fuel options available on the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD pickups and 2015 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana short-wheelbase vans. A bi-fuel package for the 2500HD and 3500HD pickups will start at $9,500. A dedicated CNG option on the cargo and passenger vans starts $10,825 for a three-tank system and $12,090 for a four- tank system. The bi-fuel option is available on all 2015 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD single-rear-wheel models. GM offers a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty on CNG trucks and vans as well as the upcoming Impala bi-fuel sedan. CNG versions of the Silverado and Sierra 2500HD pickups in double cab and crew cab variants and Express and Savana vans are on sale now. CNG-equipped Silverado and Sierra 2500HD regular cab and all 3500HD pickups are set to go on sale in July.
