GAIN CLEAN FUEL TO CONSTRUCT THREE STATIONS FOR FREIGHT COMPANY
Time Transport, a provider of same-day freight services, is partnering with U.S. Oil for the addition of three new “GAIN Clean Fuel CNG” stations to supply Time’s fleet of natural gas trucks. One GAIN station located south of Milwaukee along I-94 in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, already opened April 7th. The other two will be located in the Chicago area — one near Channahon and on near Hodgkins, Illinois. “Our sustainability efforts are a large part of our company’s strategic planning,” said Mike Buchmeier, vice president of Time Transport. “This partnership will allow us to reduce emissions while maintaining our operational network as we transition from diesel to 100 percent natural gas.” In exchange for U.S. Oil constructing the three facilities, Time Transport has committed to purchasing more than one million gallons of GAIN CNG per year. Time Transport’s fleet consists of more than 50 semi-tractors and dry-van trailers, hauling freight of all kinds, predominantly along the Milwaukee/Chicago corridor. The new GAIN stations will be fast-fill, publicly accessible stations.
