NEW COMPANY SPARQ TO PROMOTE THE USE OF CNG IN TRANSPORTATION

Three members of the former Chesapeake Energy Corp. CNG vehicle team have launched Sparq Natural Gas, LLC, a new initiative aimed at promoting the use of CNG as a vehicle fuel. Based in Oklahoma, Sparq will partner with existing convenience stores and will act as a consultant to companies considering entering or expanding into the CNG business. CEO Norman Herrera explained Sparq’s team, including Chief Financial Officer Tristan Adler and Chief Operating Officer Sufyan Qarni, wanted to introduce an NGV business founded on the objective of regional infrastructure development supported by national consulting and advisory services.
