LANDI RENZO ISSUES RECALL FOR CYLINDER BRACKETS ON FORD E-SERIES VANS
Landi Renzo USA has issued a recall through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for 343 Ford E-150, E-250 and E-350 CNG vans from model years 2011 through 2014. Dealers need to address a fire risk in vehicles that were modified from Jan. 2, 2011 through Feb. 24, 2014. In these vehicles, the left and right rear brackets that support the rear CNG cylinder may fail, allowing the cylinder to dislodge from the vehicle. According to the NHTSA announcement, if the cylinder dislodges, a CNG leak may result and increase the risk of a fire. Beginning this month, Landi Renzo USA dealers will inspect and replace the side arm brackets, as necessary, free of charge. For more information, contact Landi Renzo at 855.526.3400.
