TRUSTAR CELEBRATES CNG STATION OPENING FOR CITY OF DENVER
On Wednesday, TruStar Energy announced the grand opening of the City of Denver’s first CNG station that will provide fuel to Denver’s current fleet of seven CNG garbage trucks. The station has both time-fill and fast-fill dispensers to fuel up to 136 vehicles simultaneously, which will accommodate the City’s plans to significantly increase its number of CNG vehicles over the next several years. “The new CNG station is an important milestone in achieving our sustainability goals and elevating Denver’s reputation as a smart, livable city,” said Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock. The Denver station is Trustar’s third project in Colorado and one of approximately 60 “behind the fence” stations completed in the past few years.
