NGVS AND THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE

This week during a markup meeting on the Postal Reform Act of 2013 (S.1486), the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs adopted an amendment proposed by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) and offered by Sen. Mark Pryor (D- AR). The amendment, which was adopted by a voice vote, would require a feasibility study for the use of natural gas and propane for postal trucks.
