OREGON UTILITY RECEIVES CNG TARIFF
• January 20, 2014
On Wednesday, Northwest Natural Gas Company announced that the Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) has approved a new tariff that will allow the utility to offer a service to install, own and maintain gas compression equipment at business locations of customers who want to fuel their fleets with CNG. Northwest Natural filed the tariff with the OPUC in June. Business customers that sign up for this service will pay 100 percent of the costs associated with providing this service, and the costs will not be spread to the utility’s other customers.
