NUOVO ENERGY SOLUTIONS WINS NORTH CAROLINA STATE CONTRACTS

Nuovo Energy Solutions has been awarded two five-year contracts from the State of North Carolina to deliver NGV project solutions. The two contracts run from Sept. 2013 through Sept. 2018. Contract 557C covers “Vehicle Dedicated & Bi-Fuel CNG Conversion Kits, Accessories, Fuel Infrastructure and Installation for Gasoline Engines;” Contract 557D covers “Vehicle Natural Gas (CNG) Conversions Kits (Diesel Engine), Accessories, Fuel Infrastructure, and Installation.” While Nuovo Energy’s focus in this contract is the supply of CNG fueling solutions, they will work closely with E-Energy Alternatives for any engine conversion requests that result from these contracts. The contracts have already resulted in an order from the City of Asheville, NC, for a time-fill fueling system that will supply CNG to six garbage trucks operated by the city. As the CNG compressor dealer for Bauer Compressors in Norfolk, VA, Nuovo will supply the entire system and will continue to provide service and maintenance to the station. The Bauer Compressor system for the City of Asheville should be delivered in late March or early April. The contract with the State of NC was awarded based on the broad range of CNG capacity offered by Bauer’s line of CNG compressors and the pricing and services offered by Nuovo Energy Solutions.
